He has served on boards and worked for nearly a decade with the Honourable Rob Nicholson, former Minister of Justice and Minister of National Defence.

Human rights representation

Selected HRTO applications and responses, including disability and accommodation. Representation through mediation is quoted for a defined scope; hearings are agreed separately.

Lived experience of disability and advocacy involving police, hospitals and public institutions inform the approach. He worked with a group that championed LGBTQ rights within the Harper government. His advocacy for disabled people continues his mother’s family tradition of community service. His father, Ronald Sydney Williams, served as a member of the federal Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.

Fees before you commit

Demand letters are quoted at a fixed fee. Court representation is quoted by stage, with inclusions, HST and disbursements set out in writing.

The optional Strategic Case Assessment is $495 + HST, credited in full against a representation retainer signed within 30 days. It covers evidence, exposure, costs, timing, collectability and a recommendation.

It includes approximately 90 minutes with the documents and a written assessment within two business days of the meeting and receipt of the agreed material.
